- 1 / 5By john mccartanI`m on a day visit to Matlock and I was in a hurry, I had my three year old boy with me. I ordered fish+ chips, one pukka pie, and childs portion of chips. £9.60. "Is that correct I enquired" ? just a slight nod, was the so called reply. Fish very greasy and with too much batter, chips hard and tepid, the pie at best was just about warm. Really poor food, very disappointing, no pride, really shallow presentation, and he should change the name, as we are not far Robin Hood Country, So instead I would like to nominate a more sinister character Dick Turpin.December 20, 2016
