  Nice pub with what like looked like great food. I didn't eat there however we did drink and the beer was excellent. Very good overalls.

  Food was enjoyed by all. Unfortunately the place became busy as we finished our meal and we seemed to get forgotten. So my two young girls didnt get their ice cream. I would have said something but the young lady behind the bar seemed very busy, the other staff seemed to have vanished and we had to be somewhere else.

  The Duke of Wellington is located at the junction of Chesterfield road, Asker lane and Bank road with fantastic views out to the hillside if you decide to sit outside and brave the British weather! The standard food menu offers a fairly basic choice of standard meals, lasagne, burgers - that kind of thing but a specials board offers a wider choice and changes daily to give a good range of food overall. Roast dinners are available as an option on Sunday too. The food itself is very good and served quickly so no complaints there. The staff are friendly and polite and are always willing to help. The seating inside is limited when busy but if the weather is good there is further seating outside in the garden or out the front. The busiest times tend to be as you would expect at lunch time in the week and Sunday lunch times. Overall we love to eat here. The food is great and served quickly if you're after a quick lunch.
