  Got there at 10.40am and no queue at all for cable cars. Paid and just hopped on. Amazing trip and a nervy pause halfway up to take in the views! Then onto the hillside. Loads to do for our 2 youngsters inc. The tower, 2 playgrounds ampitheatre, stunning views and gemstone cabin. Highlight for me? The cave tour with Neil. Staggering insight into working conditions, kids sent to work aged 7 for 1p a day and all done by candlelight!

  A great day out for the whole family but really pricey for so little. After parking in a large car park you have to cross over a railway line, that is used, be careful. You start, after paying, by going up on a cable car, you could save money by walking back down. At the top there is a tour inside caves and there is a cafe and a small shop, plus toilets and a childrens play area. Visit mid week if you can as it gets rather busy especially in summer. There is historical value to this trip and lovely views. Well worth a visit but the price is a shocker
